The first edition of the UPM Conecta initiative was held from November 17 to 21, 2025. Our laboratory participated with the activity "Analysis of Plasma Generated in the Laboratory with Langmuir Probes for the Space Environment," which attracted students from all years and from different schools at UPM. During the activity, students were able to see one of the cathodes we are designing in the laboratory in operation and learn basic concepts of characterizing plasma produced with Langmuir probes.

The students also toured our facilities, asked questions about plasma, and were able to talk to the students who are doing their Master's and Bachelor's theses in the laboratory, who were also volunteers during the activity.
