TEACHING: Plasma Physics

This page contains the links to download the lecture notes and presentations in pdf format used as auxiliary material in the different Plasma Physics courses. These notes are essentially addressed to the students of Masters as well as to ungraduate students involved in the activities of the Plasma Physics Laboratory.

The content intends to fill the gaps of concepts frequently used in Plasma Physics (as atomic and molecular collisions, kinetic theory, etc.) that are less employed by aerospace engineers. The language of the lectures is either English or Spanish (depending on the audience) and most written material is frequently updated.

ERASMUS MUNDUS: EUROPEAN MASTER IN NUCLEAR FUSION AND ENGINEERING PHYSICS

Funded by the CEE  within the Erasmus Mundus program in collaboration with different institutions Ghent University,  CIEMAT, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Carlos III, ...ete. For more information follow this link ...
These advanced lectures cover the fundamentals of low density and unmagnetized plasma diagnostics using collecting and emissive Langmuir probes. These techniques are employed by the students in the Laboratory Project to determine the electron temperature, density and plasma potential. The analysis of the results is ilustrated with actual experimental data.
